In “PTSD: A Soldier’s Perspective” Scott Lee writes, “I’m still overwhelmed with life and struggling with the basics, but after attending The Military Experience and Arts Symposium I have been able to divert my anxieties into creative projects. I started another rewrite of my combat narratives, flirting with the idea of submitting it to the Journal of Military Experience.” Read more about his journey by clicking on the Coalition of Combat PTSD Bloggers below:

Andrew, that is fantastic news and kudo’s to the fantastic team that put together the event. Just my own thought, writing itself may not resolve your PTSD, but the support you get from Travis and many others, will allow you to express the deep pain you’re going through. Most important, after complete your story, is to keep in touch with the people you met at the symposium when you need a friend. Remember, you are not alone!!
My apologies, I believe I should have directed this to Scott Lee. But that’s another thing that’s great about the people you met; you can make mistakes without consequences … Travis you are still going to allow me to post?:) LOL
