Eric Hodges, MEA Scholarship Editor recently gave a TEDx talk on the implications of the military–civilian divide (see above video). Hodges is a PhD candidate at Virginia Tech, his dissertation research like his TEDx talk advances research in veteran studies. In fact, as Hodges explains in the video, he is responsible for establishing the Virginia Tech Veteran Studies conference. The second annual conference takes place in April 2014. A call for presenters is currently out with a deadline of January 10, 2014. We hope you enjoy the video as much as we do.
