Had you not survived this could you have become who you are? Did you mean to? No. It was all luck. You have made it through and now you must come to grips with it as others must accept the fact that they did not as they are falling … falling… falling.

But if you are honest with yourself – truly admit it, bright blinding flashes of anger and metal made you feel more alive than you ever did.

And then you are wounded.

And you claim to understand life.

And you are at home, at peace.

And it is dark.
