Kamikaze

by Seabass

Within smoldering debris on a broken street soaked wet with diesel and blood
The head lies
Staring blankly as sirens and women wail
Too obscene to view, but impossible to look away
The rest incinerated and mixed with victims
To mix and flow and return to the dust as one
Children, mothers, fathers, unknown others churned with their aggressor
As the dazed and deaf survivors stumble on uneasy legs
And search for an absentee God
