Lest we forget the tribes of war.
Ten abreast the forward ranks
the lion’s breath on purchased flesh
souls of the slain, the lion’s mane
a soldier’s death runs ten abreast

A rider’s hand on sword and shield
the wrath of men on purchased land
from eyes my tears, the broken man
a rider’s death runs ten abreast

Lest we forget the tribes of war
a soldier’s debt of purchased death
the seeds are sown, lest we forget
