Minerals, silence; bacillus, organic
Matter, water, air. Complex and
Dynamic; silt, sand, and clay.
Nutrients, living organisms; maybe
Worms, humus, fungi.
Not getting close enough
Sand and dust; saliva and
Grit.
Sudden
Heavy metal, shrapnel, fragments
Frangible, inorganic pressure;
A closer embrace never felt.
Madness makes a friend of
Dirt, the companion of the dead.
